Title: Anyone in Austin, TX that can help me w/monitor troubleshooting?
Post by: soslo on August 15, 2007, 03:15:11 pm
I have a couple of cabs with 25" monitors that I'd like to troubleshoot, but I've only ever gutted cabs to MAME them...not repair actual games (in this case, a Zombie Raid).

Thanks to this post, I met cw last night.  He is a great monitor tech and a great optimistic guy!
I found out that I was about to throw out a monitor that I had completely fixed just because I didn't know about a brightness control on the chassis!  The other monitor had a completely smashed neck board, and he was able to bypass all of the cracks to get the thing working again!  And wow, what a personal collection...   :notworthy:
