Hi.
I don't know if "Software" means "Only Arcade-related Software"...please move if it is wrong here :)
I'm drawing Galaga'88-Logo with Corel Draw X3. I'm finished but there's alittle problem.
In the "G" there is a small area where the curve overlaps itself. The area that overlaps unfortunately is not filled like the rest of the object. I tried that with several little tests and it's always the same. Even very simple curves that overlap don't get filled.
Does anybody know that problem and knows how to solve it???
Thanks
Attachments: the first picture shows the unfilled area in the Galaga'88-"G". The second one shows a really simple object with the same problem.

Your probably better off putting this in the Artwork forum next time. That is where vector artists would hang out.

I guess you are right......can someone please move "me" there ? :)

I did a workaround for the problem.....but if someone can explain why Corel Draw behaves like this......

@pinballjim: I'm glad I'M not the only one with that problem :)
I "melted" the curve (the german expression in Draw is "Verschmelzen" http://dict.tu-chemnitz.de/dings.cgi?lang=de&service=deen&opterrors=0&optpro=0&query=verschmelzen&iservice=&comment= )
Then I had one filled object and added the two black lines. Since the logo will be scaled I could not export it to TIF.
It's ok for me now but I still don't understand why Corel is not able to fix the problem. I already wrote an email to the german support but got no reply

Keep trying to find the solution. I'd love to hear what it is. I've done some google searching and I'm amazed that I can't find anything.
Are your video card drivers up to date?
My search for communities about Corel was negative, too.....unbelievable ???
I tried this on 3 different PCs.....everywhere the same so I don't think it's the graphics card.
If I get any information about it, I'll let you know :)
