Title: movie preview and rom names...not the same....so movies aren't working!

i downloaded the atari 2600 movies among others from emumovies.com.  i couldnt get it to work for a while, until i found out that the name of my rom was different from the name of my movie preview because my rom name didn't have the (1982) [Company] [!] at the end of it.  i know that programs like ListGen can remove the tags and stuff, and so can malagamelist but what program removes the tags from the movies?  help!

So it's actually filenames that need batch conversion?  There are lots of file renamer applications out there - but I like this one : Flexible Renamer.  As well as normal wildcard stuff, it handles regular expressions.  Oooo.  Ahhhh.
