Someone told me in a PM that it was possible to hack the triggers on the controller (LT and RT) by using a resistor. I can't find that PM, and I can't find a source online. Anyone know about this? I've been getting requests for this, and I'd like to be able to offer it on my hacks.
Thanks.

I have no clue as to how to do it, but I am curious as to what that hack would achieve?

Hacking it for use with standard arcade pushbuttons. ;)
There is instructions somewhere on this board for hacking them. I'm not sure where though, so you may just need to play with some searching.

I really should have been able to guess that. :banghead: Thanks.

I lied.
It seems that the instructions were on xbox-scene.com, but with that knowledge I bring:

Yeah, I wrote a big tutorial here on how to hack the 360 controller (wired version) but without the RT and LT buttons. Thanks for the linky!!

Yeah, it might have been you. I can't remember... but now that I know, and now that have my Xbox 360 back, I'm going to a wireless hack this weekend (with the triggers). :woot
