Title: Loadman's Speech Plugin
Post by: SGT on August 08, 2007, 07:25:24 pm
I now use the option to remove (on the fly) items in brackets from the game descriptions.  I notice that the Speech plugin still "speaks" the info in the brackets when using this method.  Is there a work around so that the plugin ignores bracketed information when there is a check in the checkbox under:

Options>GUI>Options>Gamelists>Remove brackets from names?

No big deal.  I can use the gamelist editor to do it the old way.  Only thing is, you have to remove the brackets from the game list after every time that you add new games which can be a minor pain.

It's on my 'to do' list to add to my 'to do' list to add a feature to ignore characters like *, so I guess I can add a bracket option too

Don't go to too much trouble as removing the brackets the old way gets the job done.  I just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking something.  Thanks for the plugin by the way.
