I have two openings right now, one entry level one experienced.
Dream Arcades is looking for 2 Arcade Technicians with immediate availability. Must reside around the Sacramento area (Our office is located in Folsom). Pay is dependent on qualifications. Forklift certification is a plus. The workweek is negotiable from 30 to 40 hours a week. Must have basic wiring and PC skills as well as the ability to lift 55 pounds (19 inch monitors). Must be able to work unsupervised and with only minimal direction.
This position is responsible for day-to-day operations of the shop. Including wiring and testing controls, assembling and packing arcades, preparation of computers and monitors and other job duties as needed. The ideal candidate will also handle first level e-mail and phone support and may also direct the work of other techs.
Training will be provided for future job responsibilities including; handling phone support, training new techs, and assisting with arcade and software design.

That's pretty cool. I'd love a part time job like that. Hell, wouldn't even have to pay me much, it would be like hobby activity with someone else's tools and equipment.

Too bad this isn't located here in Olympia, Wash.
I could build their control panels, wire cabinets, etc.

We've had a few people ask if we would consider candidates that want to relocate. If you are willing to relocate then sure.
