No matter WHAT version and WHAT machine I have had Galaga running on, this happens:
Turn on the machine(which defaults into Galaga), let it run, go downstairs, come up again and
something about 'RAM OK' is displayed on the screen, upside down. Hiscore garbled after that.
Happens all the time.
Maybe I should give up Galaga. :hissy:

You are using the High Scores dat file aren't you?
-
No, I'm not. I'm using Mame 111 compiled. But the problem was the same when I used the
.dat.
:(

AE35,
Your first priority is to help the guy out of the cabinet. :laugh2:

Looks like a new Pinball2000 game!

LOL!!!!! :laugh2:
Actually a very nice picture of me!!!
-
your Galaga Horror will stop now ! ;D
Just trust me on this......... This happened to me on a fighting game, which everything reported OK, verified fine etc.....but during game, the graphics glicthes shows up. I tested the ZIP file and it was corrupted. So I re-donwloaded a new ROM set and BINGO the HORROR was gone. ;)
-
I've rolled the machine before and never made it to the guy with the camera pointing at you level. ;)
That's weird??
-
F12 will take a screenshot. Might save you a bit of time in the future. ;)
Kind of curious about the cause of this one. I stayed with an older version of MAME since I like highscore.dat in its non-kludged form. I've never had an issue with in through multiple releases of MAME up to .99.

It's like the worst "uncover the chick" Japanese mahjong game ever.

Don't you have a wife, girlfriend, sister that could have taken that shot for you.

Next time get her to stand closer to the glass. Also, a skirt wouldn't kill you.

When you say compiled do you mean you compiled it or the downloadable .111 version? If you compiled it yourself, I'd try to see if it happens with the real thing. It's too bad they've removed support for the hiscore stuff from the core code.
Oh, and *never* give up on Galaga. :)

I'll ask :laugh2: BTW I think she did better than wearing a skirt in the other pictures.
You people really like looking at reflections. Do you play your mp3 files backwards too? :P

And when you do that, Install it in a different directory.
Oh, and galaga supports save states so you don't need the old high score stuff.
