I would like to take the audio out from my PC jack and have that split into white/red RCA cable jacks so I can plug it into my receiver. I have no idea what these things are really called, so my searches have not turned up anything useful.
Any ideas what these cables are called?

Usually 1/8" mini stereo to RCA or 1/8"-RCA. You can walk into any Walmart and get them. They're usually sold near the portable CD players and/or mp3 players. If not, try the section where all of their coax, RCA and optical patch cables are. Can't miss them.

Thanks

I had to return a pair of 1/8" <-> 2xRCA cables back to Wally last month when I realized it was mono 1/8" jack. Not sure what was up with that, the package clearly stated it was stereo. :dunno Wally was all out of the other brands so I just went to another store to get it.
I think it was just a fluke, but double check to make sure.

You can also get just an adapter so that you can use any length of normal RCA cables. Radio Shack should have them (they used to).

minijack to rca adapter at radio-shack is what I used it was like $3.99 I just plug it into the pc and then use the red/white rca cords sold seperatly from it to the surround sound reciever I actually have another 2 splitter's on top of it to run duel surround recievers at once but now I dont have enough room for all the speakers lol.
