Title: Is this worth it for a M.A.C.H 3 cockpit? NOW HAVE PICS!

I've found cockpit mach 3, and is supposedly in excellent conidtion, but not properly working.  They said it will turn on for a few minutes and then jsut go black.  Laser disc and player are still in the machine.  The lady wants 100 dollars for the thing.  Its about a 4 hour drive however, so I want to be sure before I make it.  I emailed her asking for some pictures of it, so I'll post them if she replys.

Do you think it will fit in a full sized truck bed then, or is it too big for that?  I think I'm going to have to make a road trip to pick this sucker up.

I've seen some articles around giving fixes for common problems with the laserdisc players in these machines. If thats the problem you may be able to get it fully working again easily enough.

Definitely worth the price if you have room. Any cockpit is worth that.

Just make sure you realize that LD games come with their own challenges. Luckily there are sites like this one:

If it was working at all you're a step up on a lot of the LD games you'll find around.

No pictures yet, but Im going to try to call the lady about getting it.  Thanks for the responses.  I don't really have the room, but I can always keep it in my garage for now :)

Here are some pictures.  I am a bit hesitant now though.  The lady said the control panel is there but just under the boxes or something lol.  Can anyone tell if there is water damage under the monitor?

I would get it , that price is great. I use to play that game alot , i always wished they had a cockpit at my arcade,jupiter & beyond.i had to go about 20 miles to play a cockpit , i have been looking for one in or near atlanta, it is a hard game to play , but once you learn it i think it would be worth it.

Looks ok - just needs a bezel. Get that Star Wars bank too!
