Title: This just kills me -Galaga might work $1200

A maybe working galaga game,  art looks good but everything else is a crap shoot.  This guy wants $1200 and might be willing to negotiate!  WOW

From the photo, looks like it is sitting outside.  Maybe that's why it might work (or not).... $1200, wow, how generous that he may be willing to negotiate!

Seems like this guy doesn't realize what an old arcade like that really goes for.

I'd offer him $300 bucks. If he doesn't like it, tell him its not worth $1200. If he insists, ask him how he came up with that number. Tell him you are interested but just leave him your number or email and tell him to contact you if he's willing to go for your offer and walk away.

Well some people in LA are dumb enough to pay a million dollars for a 1000 sq ft house, maybe the same applies to arcade cabinets there?

Yep. It's what I refer to as "the Antiques Roadshow mentality". You call something "collectible" and all of sudden people think they're sitting on a winning Lotto ticket, they don't even bother to do their homework lest it burst their bubble.

Too funny.  A buddy of mine bought a 1100 sq foot house for 2.1 mil.  Gotta love LA.

Hey no making fun of my hometown! People only pay that much cause its the going rate. This is, after all, L.A.! Sand, sun and women  8)
