I took apart an old VCR (salvaged some wire, RCA jacks, useful stuff like that) and I noticed the main motor/reading head part rotates SILKY SMOOTH and has a nice weight to it. I just have to figure a way to extend the main axel and it should be possible to turn this into a "nasty spinner" ... old broken VCRs are pretty common. Anyone else care to pursue this theory?
