Title: Two Possible Scores

Things are looking good on a 2 cabinet score here in "The Ho".   I found a Church Youth Group that is looking to liquidate their arcade cabinets.  I already purchased a Turbo Outrun for $150.00...works great...the cabinet itself is in good condition.   There is some monitor burn-in,  but it's not terrible.  I did have to replace one steering spring (bought it NOS even!) and I had to jurry-rig the spring in the shifter (that pushes a bearing against a metal plate to keep the shifter in "gear").

Now I am informed they have a Primal Rage for $150 and a Rampage: World Tour for $250.  I will be going to take a look at their condition,  but the PR would have to be trashed to not be worth it...especially with the 25" monitor in it.

I'll post photos as soon as I know more/have more.

That PR is a prime candidate to MAME or drop a multigame board in to... PR is pretty asstastic.

I'd try and grab both if possible. I missed out on the score of a lifetime down here. Some guy was selling an Asteroids and Rastan for $300 FOR BOTH. Both were in mint condition too.

Ah well, here I am paying $350 a couple of weeks later for just an Asteroids and I still consider it a good score.

Things are looking brighter and brighter every day.   The Pastor of the Church is going to possibly be able to show me the cabinets Sunday...if not Sunday,  then next weekend for sure.

...AND he said the storage facility where one cabinet is has "5 or 6 other arcade games" that a member of the church owns and is looking to sell as well.

I don't have any idea what the games are or the asking prices yet,  but this deal has the POTENTIAL to be a pretty good one.

If you pass on anything interested, let me know. I'm in Utah and I wouldn't mind making the drive up there to the Boise area if something should prove worth it.

...and vice-versa.  If something in Utah was to come up (Star Wars, Galaga, Driver cab for next to nothing, etc)... let me know.

Once I get a gander at the other games and conditions,  I will post.  I will try to get some photos too...
