I played this game over the weekend at Hersheypark, it is ENORMOUS! Will be posting a review with pics soon..

Hercules is cool but slooooooooooooow. Think of playing pinball on a bumper pool table with a cue ball.
-
That was exactly how I described it Chad- and I noticed the flippers were made of wood!
-
Hrm. I can't remember off the top of my head if the originals were that way... but parts for Hercules are hard to come by, so they could have been custom replacements.
-
Just wanted to post this pic for people unfamiliar with the game... ;D

WTF is with that kid's shirt?

WTF is with that kid's shirt?
Well, it is becoming clearer and clearer that the early 90's were much more retarded fashion wise than the 80's ever were. ;)
-
I think I need this pin in my home- it made me look thinner! ;D

Gecko wasn't that bad.

WTF is with that kid's shirt?
He is a Vulcan child who was shot to death in a drive by. He is not actually playing the game in that picture, but slumped over dead on the pin...

Stupid ---daisies--- almost put laser holes in a rare pin.
-
It's a Martian bukakke shirt.

Funny, I've seen a Hercules for sale here. In bad shape, probably non-working and they asked way too much for it. The only thing special about it is it's size......probably someone at Atari thought that big-is-better...which reminds me that I recently played a pin that has a mini pinball table inside (is it Family Guy ?) that was a LOT of fun to play, lightning fast :) !!
-
The one I played actually had a sign on top that it's the biggest pin to date according to Ripley's Believe It Or Not..

From everything I've ever heard about this thing, the novelty is all it has going for it.

The one at the Ripleys Believe It Or Not on the Canadian side of Niagra Falls has one set to free play. It has the same sign, and I also have some pictures of it somewhere.

I think I'd rather play the T2 pin next to it.... the only pin I wanna own is the Street Fighter 2 Pin, the mini game is awesome :)
-
I think the biggest issue with the thing is that the
power to the coils (or the coils themselves) is underrated.
However, someone should make a light ceramic ball like in
Twilight Zone. Or maybe plastic..etc. Should speed
things up considerably.

Some people would string and cut you open for saying that the SFII pin is awesome. I kinda believe that if you enjoy the pin that it's worth your money. Many others, however, are really picky and selective. When I was asking around for advice on a machine to buy, I was really surprised at how many people considered SFII "the worst pin ever". I don't think it's that bad, personally.

Yup. Family Guy with the Stewie mini pinball playfield.

I'm pretty sure they were. At least the handful I've seen over the years all had wood flippers.

the pin itself is quite average, but the mini game is cool, you smack the ball into a car under the play field and on the little LED screen it shows animations of the car being destroyed ala the SFII bonus game.... that and Im a huge Street Fighter mark..... was there ever a Mortal Kombat pin?

I have seen a few of these bad boys in warehouses, but I have never seen one up and running.

I could see myself getting one of those - never had a pin.

I do have to admit tho, don't quite understand why the creator set up the backglass so that Hercules' @$$ was facing me... :laugh2:
