Title: Pac board question...most of you will know this.

So I landed a Pac with Ms Pac board in it. What does it take to convert it to a regular Pac board. Just pull the daughter card and ribbon cable and thats it, or is there more to it?. I have another Pac board with Pac roms in it? Does the Ms Pac have different roms also? Please let me know. Thanks

Mmmmm ..... how about change everything that DOESN'T match your other Pac board ?

Yes, the ROMs are different between a Pac-Man and a Ms. Pac-Man.   ;)

Remove the daughter board and ribbon cable from the main PCB. Remove the Z80 from the daughter board. Insert it where the ribbon cable went. Change ROMs 5E and 5F to regular pac man roms. :cheers:

FWIW-

I think I remember bob roberts selling the 5E and 5F roms.  Perhaps this is why.......
