Title: namco geebee b/W monitor eht problem
Post by: robotype on July 16, 2007, 10:27:29 am
yesterday the monitor of my geebee died, I heard a noise and found the yoke connector on the high voltage pcb was burnt and smell of blown capacitor. before doing that the image on the screen was extremely unstable. actually that pcb is in quite bad shape as you can see from the picture below...what could be the cause of this?

you never know your luck, replace the anode cap and the transistor, clean and re-tin the edge connector and check its opposing socket.re-glue the bit of plastic on the flyback
if your really lucky it might work
