I have a friend in Europe that has a couple games that his kids don't play anymore and he was going to send them to me, but they're PAL format.
Will the US 360's automatically convert a PAL disc to play on an NTSC TV set? I know some of the regular DVD players do this, but does the 360?
My 360 is flashed for playing backups (a must with a 4 year old and an 8 year old playing $60 games), not sure if that makes a difference or not...
thanks!

yup, there's no way around it as far as I know. There's a good number of 360 games that are region free, but you won't be able to play PAL games on an NTSC xbox/TV. The region free games would allow you to get some asian games though, as long as they are NTSC as well.
