Title: Vision Pro or Wei-Ya?
Post by: FrizzleFried on July 15, 2007, 11:35:13 am
I am looking for honest opinions here...

I can get a VisionPro 19" standard res monitor for $169.99 + $28 shipping or a Wei-Ya 19" standard res monitor for $139.99 + $28 shipping.  Would anyone here recommend the VisionPro over the Wei-Ya  regardless of cost?  How about with the cost factor added in?

Thanks!

I would get the Wei-ya since it's cheaper. However, there are some things to be aware of:

The Wei-ya quoted in that price needs an isolation transformer. The Happ/Tovis Vision Pro does not need an isolation transformer.

The monitor would be going in to a cabinet with an Isolation transformer inside already...they are all pretty much the same (isolation transformers) right?  I mean,  I don't need to look for specific models for specific models of monitor...except for Nintendo Cabs of course...

To piggyback on this message,

I'm looking to replace the 19" in my Ms. Pacman.  Which model(s) of both the Wei-Ya and Vision Pro are good replacements?  Just want to be sure I order the right one that's as easy as plug-n-play!  One more question, any issues putting in a larger screen instead (25 or 27", haven' checked prices yet on them)
