Hello all,
I'm about to complete the wiring phase of my Cabinet (almost done). However I have run into one small issue. I have two Perfect 360 Joysticks that I have no idea how to power. I've seen plenty message boards that tell me how there joysticks are connected. But nothing that gives me a good diagram or any type of direction on how to complete the install. Any help anyone can give would be appreciated. Top three ways i've seen them install are.
Molex Connector off a PC Power Supply.
Modified USB connection
Powered off the I-PaC (I have an I-PAC4 which does not have the 5v slot.
Thanks guys

Do you have a trackball? You could power it off of the opti-pac very easily.

I have a trackball but its the standard Happ Track

Modified usb is definately the easiest.... Cut the end off the cord, put the red to +5 and the black to ground and you are done. Molex connectors from the powersupply are only slightly harder, but I don't prefer them because they are so short and you have to rig up wiring. You can buy a long usb cable, so it just looks neater.

IMHO
using the pin headers on the IPAC is the easiest way to power the joysticks. If you have an old computer case around use the wires from it. IE the power, HDD LED, or reset. wire the red to what you want to use as positive and wire the black for negative then match to the pin headers of the IPAC. Hope I helped.
