Title: What game (org cab question)
Post by: clok on July 13, 2007, 09:09:50 am
What game came in this cab when it was new. I have seen it a million times in my youth but with a  quick search i was guessing Kangaroo or Major Havok (not many org cab Havoks, I know), but i was wrong on both.

Yeah definitely a millipede, and I have one that is being restored right now for a multicade.

Thanks for the quick responces. I think its a very nice looking cab, its close enough and cheap enough I was thinking of picking it up and doing something with it. To bad its such a horrible game in it now (just opinion).

It would be nice to see if there was any sideart left, or what other modifications were made, but for that price either way, grab it!

There isn't a good side shot, but it is highly likely that the sides have been painted over black and the art is in tact.

True, also with that being a working game the price will be much higher than it currently is come closing time

You really think so?
In my area at least, anything working goes for $150 and up, especially if the cabinet is clean and solid..

Now superauctions on the other hand, is a different beast :-)

If that cabinet is local to you, contact the guy and ask to come see it in person. When there, offer him cash in hand and pick up tommorrow. You'll get it for $100.

I'd offer him $110, so you can say"just end the eBay auction and I'll cover the fees"

You are bidding on a full size Atari Mat Mani Arcade Machine
Now that's funny.

I would defienately try to look at it in person if close enough.
I'm certain the original wiring harness and power supply stuff is all hacked up if you were to plan on restoring it back to a Millipede.
Also ask what monitor is in it. Millipede's usually came with a Matsushita monitor that was notorious for the tube color guns dying.
