Just got one of these in (Thanks leapinview) to use for testing.
Anyone know the mating connector for the Sanyo 20EZ video-connector?
-
mating connector ?
Not sure exactly where you mean by this......
Are you using the inverter board or not?
Will you be running a Nintendo game?
A typical installation would have a video signal cable going into the inverter board and then from there a ribbon type cable to the main chassis. (same connector on either cable)
Like so: http://www.mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/store.pl?sku=MONCBLNIN (http://www.mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/store.pl?sku=MONCBLNIN)

This is why I really am not good at talking on the forums, I can never word anything correctly.
On the Monitor PCB there is a 6 pin connector for RGB, Sync, and GND. If you want to use the monitor, you have to plug a cable into this 6 pin connector. The cable will have a connector on it that "mates" with the connector on the monitor PCB.
I didn't get a chance to look at it last night, but IIRC it looks like a .100 pitch connector. Once I lookup and order the correct connector, I'll post the info for future reference.

Here's what you're looking for from Mouser Electronics (www.mouser.com):
# 538-22-01-3067 Molex KK .100" crimp terminal housing only
# 538-08-50-0114 Molex KK .100" crimp pins (needed for above to insert in the housing)
Remove the "538-" to get the actual Molex part number. You can also buy these from Bob Roberts.

Thanks Ken. Making a few other cables and wanted to get this in with my order.

My next step would have been Bob Roberts..... but Kens the man with all them fandangled part numbers and such. ;D
