I added a new hard drive to my cabinet and I'm moving all my roms, snaps, mpegs, etc to this drive and standardizing locations at the same time. The folder structure looks like this
e:\roms
mame
daphne
nes
e:\snaps
mame
daphne
nes
When I move the daphne roms out of the default location (c:\daphne\roms) it complains it can't find the rom files. I can't find a setting to change to tell it to look in the new location for the rom files. Is it possible to tell daphne to look in another location for the rom files? If so how?
Thanks

I looked and can not find a way to tell Daphne the location of the Rom files.
I seem to remember someone mentioning a long time ago that Daphne does not like it when the Roms are moved out of the "Daphne/Roms" folder. I keep my rom files in the Daphne/Roms location.

Did you change your framefile(s) to reflect the new location of the rom files?
You would need to change them from c:\daphne\roms to the new location in each framefile for each game

The frame files list the path to the video files, not to the roms. I'm with UncleT. There doesn't seem to be a config file nor a command line parameter to set the roms path. Must be hard coded in daphne.exe.

That stinks. That's for confirming my suspicions and crushing any hopes of me being organized. ;)

For the sizes of the rom files I think you can get over it.

just open the framefile and type the correct path :dunno
