How thick is this stuff? I was looking at their website and its says 10 mil thick, do they mean 10 mm as in millimeters if so that seems REALLY THICK ! thats over a 1/3 of a inch

I'm no expert on this stuff, but when I deal with my mechanical engineering
friends a mil is a thousandth of a inch. 10 mils = 0.010"
I would still get clarification tho...

ahh ok that would make sense, I thought 10 mm was a little on the large side :)

Vidmouse is right.

mil [1]
a unit of distance equal to 0.001 inch: a "milli-inch," in other words. Mils are used, primarily in the U.S., to express small distances and tolerances in engineering work. One mil is exactly 25.4 microns, just as one inch is exactly 25.4 millimeters. This unit is also called the thou. With the increasing use of metric units in the U.S., many machinists now avoid the use of "mil" because that term is also a handy slang for the millimeter.
Don't worry, it is thin. Only .254 mm

Would you mind putting up a link ? Thanks !

It's about the same thickness as MameMarquees' overlays.
Not too thick. Not too thin.

Its not really how thick it is that matters, it is the material. Vinyl should be able to hold up to whatever you can throw at it, as long as you aren't throwing sharp objects.

I used that stuff on my 3rd CP on my cocktail table. Looks pretty good.
-
My biggest concern with the thickness is how opaque it is. I'm sure the black would be fine, but I'm thinking about picking up some wood-grain to recover the sides of my Ms Pac cocktail.

I used the Parts Express vinyl on my swappable cp's and I think it looks pretty good.
Here are some (not so great) pics...
