I was getting a little tired of my wii, so I broke down and got a 360 with birthday money. I went ahead and got the elite, and 2 year warranty from best buy which I think is pretty necessary considering all the problems. I bought burnout revenge because it was only 30 bucks.
What games should I be looking to pick up in the future?
-
Gears of War for the present, and on September 25th Halo 3, as for anything after that who cares, it's all just another brick in the wall.

I'll probably be doing the same thing in a month or two and Dead Rising is one game I'll be picking up when I do.
Also, microsoft announced they are extending warranties out to three years for anyone who gets the red ring of death and is going to reimburse anyone who had to pay for repairs, so you may not of needed the warranty (of course it'll be nice to have if it breaks some other way).

Yeah I was worried that somehting else might happen. Plus I use to work at best buy during college so I still know some people there. They will just swap it out for me as long as I have the warranty.
I also picked up saints row, how is it?
-
Saint's Row is pretty good, I enjoyed it.
I was a bit disappointed in Dead Rising though. I love playing the game to just kill some zombies, but the actual game is frustrating IMO because of the strict time limits. Still worth a play though.

I just bought one a little over a week ago. I've been playing a lot of Saint's Row. It's no GTA, but it's a lot of fun. It's keeping me interested enough that I haven't tried Gears of War which I got from Gamefly a couple of days ago.
Skip Fuzion Frenzy 2 if you were thinking about it. It really stinks.
Make sure you set up a Live account (first month is free) so you can download the free games (Hexic, Aegis Wing) and all the demos. I bought a copy of Time Pilot and although a little expensive ($5 in points) it's a lot of fun and the updated sounds and graphics are nice. I wish they'd sell them cheaper though, or do some kind of package deal. It's cool to be able to play a quick simple game from the hard drive without swapping disks.

Crackdown is the shizzznit.
Im a huge hockey fan, so NHL2007 gets alot of play time from me. Halo 3..... meh, who cares.
-
the ONLY game I play anymore is Gears of War.....online..... :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:
-
Gears is a must but my favorite at the moment is Rainbow Six Vegas, the online element is awesome.
Oblivion is great if your into single player RPGs.
-
Dead Rising.
Nothing beats killing Zombies with a hot frying pan or smacking them around with a purse while wearing a horses head.
I don't have a 360 yet, hopefully I can snag one before Halo III comes out.
-
My son really digs Lost Planet and both my boys love Lego Star Wars II. I am into Gears of War (I'll be back online soon), Tiger Woods 2007, and Dead Rising. Also, Blazing Angels is kind of fun if you like plane games.

There's a lot of good games. Many good as rentals.
I am currently playing Rainbow Six, Forza 2, GRAW2, Guitar Hero, and several of the arcade titles.
Gears of War is pretty good. The best part is co-op play. Multiplayer kinda sucks in my opinion. But I guess I am alone in that opinion as it is the current number 1 online game and the game to removed halo 2 from the number 1 spot.
I am also playing Shadowrun on my PC.
But I am also a sport game fan. I play NHL 07, Tiger Woods, and i will pick up NCAA 08 next week.
