Title: I Need art have iPac2 for best one
Post by: Birdtales on April 21, 2003, 11:27:54 pm: I am building a new Mame cabinet. My first one had a plain green control panel. I am thinking artwork on this one on the Control Panel.

First prize - iPac2

Second prize - 2 Bat handle top fire joysticks.

Third prize - 2 X-arcade 8 way sticks and 10 black buttons

I have other suff that can be substituted, red t-molding, oscar 4 way restrictor, couple of different board sets (High Impact Football, NARC, 2 Road Riot 4WD boards and link board)

I like the Motorfish style but I also like Frosty's panels too. Really don't have a theme in mind but the cabinet is black with red t-molding. Guess it could be a Stargate, Defender or Robotron theme because of the colors.

Dimensions are 27" wide by 14 3/4" tall.

Looking for two players 7 button lay out bottom 4 in neo geo config. Two 8 way wico red ball tops leaf sticks and one wico 4 way red balltop leaf stick. Two buttons on the right of the 4 way joystick.

A 2 1/4" Happs trackball ( ball is red) two buttons on the left side of the trackball.

Oscar Model one spinner 2" rubber knob. Two buttons on the left of the spinner.

Player and credit buttons on each side.

A cluster of 6 buttons somewhere on the panel for admin.

No button labels required. No control labels required. Graphics are OK but no characters please (classics, fighters, comic book heroes, etc)

Pick the button colors I have several of each. The admin/coin/P1/P2 buttons are black bezel red lens round illuminated buttons.

I'm out of town Wenesday through Saturday. Will check PM tomorrow and Sunday. Provided there are enough entries I'll pick the top three on the 1st of May.

Post by: mahuti on May 01, 2003, 01:03:49 am: I just happen to be working on something like this myself. In my case, I'm modding the defender/stargate layout to suit my own design, but in very subtle ways.

If you want, I could give it a shot for your layout.
