Title: Quick question about Mala
Post by: Warborg on June 25, 2007, 02:28:34 am
Hey All,

I'm just starting to dabble in the emu scene again, and working on planning out a new cab.  I've been looking at Mala for my frontend, which looks to be able to do just about anything I would need.  But I do have one question...  Is it possible to somehow set specific command line parameters per rom?  Like for instance if I were to have my entire MAME list up, but for Tempest I wanted to specify the command line args to set the flick/beam intensity/etc?

Thanks for any input...

You can set the individual games in mame. You make .ini files for games that you want to load with different configs

Have a look here:

Ok, yeah, I guess I could do it that way, just didn't think of it...  :)

I claim I was having a alcohol induced blonde moment I tell you!   8)

Kewl.  There are other ways to do it via MaLa but that solution is the best I think
