Title: coin mechs
Post by: philby85 on June 20, 2007, 10:40:13 pm
Hey Guys,

Bought a mech , ( not electronic) It has height and width adjustments. When I mount it in my cab the coins always rarely drop. say 1 in 30. I checked the mech it is square in the cab. I have adjust the height and width many many times no joy. Any ideas I was expecting a normal coin mech to be easy to setup.

cheers

Philby

Yes, they are setup for local 20 cent pieces (australia) however I have adjusted the height and width.

Attached is a pic of the mech.

Thickness adjust is also important. If this unit was bought used then cleanliness is of the utmost important. Any hint of dirt/grime/gunk along the rails can slow the coin down just enough to not work.
