I have a Mortal Kombat II mainboard and sound board from a old cab with a broken monitor. It sounded like it worked fine when I turned it on. What could I expect to get for it? Or does anyone have a offer?
-
$40 shipped, and yes, thats an offer
Ive seen a bunch on ebay for 25 but they are untested or lack the sound board. I have a Ultimate MK3 coming in a dedicated MKII cab that I am going to convert (revert?) back to MKII

I just went outside and dug around abit and found the marquee for it. Would you bump it up to 50$?
-
how many "bongs" does it make at power-up?
-
yeah if the marquee is original size (read: NOT CUT DOWN) and you can be sure it works, I could do $50, paypaled today
-
Ah crap I don't remember I turned the cab into a mame machine and it's been sitting in antistatic bags for about a year. I found it cleaning out my garage.
-
What size should the marquee be? The one i have is 25"X7 1/2", Are there any tests I can do? power to certain pins and add a speaker?
-
I cant measure it until my cab arrives this Saturday. Try to test it while I figure out if the marquee is the right size (I emailed the person I bough the cab from) but I definitely would like to pick this up from you
-
How would I test it? does anyone have a pinout or something?
-
Okay I figured out how to stick it into a fighting golf cab and the sound and video seem fine but the on boot error check says that eeprom U6 is bad any idea what its for? Oh and it only bongs once.
edit: on further investigation this chip is on the "memory expansion board" and I think its a simple ram chip.

u6 is a sound rom
-
ok, I'll give ya 40 shipped. I can always hunt down a sound card later or just hunt down a u6 sound rom for the board.
