Many Hells Angels are usually for keeping law and order in their area.  Not always in the most peaceful manner but if you're a dealer or banger you will stay clear of their spots.  They are not ones to mess with, clearly, but I used to live next door to one.  Very nice guy, very large guy, lived on the corner and policed the whole neighborhood like we were family.

Good job comprehending what I said.  Our neighborhood was one of the safest places I've ever lived, in large part because of his presence and that of his friends.  They were loud, sure, but if any of us ever needed anything they were the first ones with an extended hand.  In MA, that's rare, as most people will turn a blind eye to your house burning down if their show is on at that moment.

A better question would be what kind of situation does it take to make a LAWYER the hero of the story?!?  :dizzy:

I'm not sure Murder x3 will stick but I don't know the law in Melbourne vis a vis killing random strangers that get in the way?

Seriously.  This was one guy who committed crimes.  It is not group policy, unless the Aussie branches have devolved, to do this type of thing.  If the groups here have a problem with someone they call them right out into the open street so everyone can see.  Never hidden.

Even the worst gangs can have strict codes about violence against women.  Heck, even in prison you may be more likely to get shanked if you're in for a violent crime against a woman.

yes, that is what this retard was doing. he was right in the open street, not hidden. thats how he came to shoot two bystanders. heres some more examples of bikers resolving 'issues' in the open:

seriously, what do you join a biker/bikie gang for? many people who join are misfits. they dont fit into normal society. as a gang, they operate by the threat of violence as any standover merchants do. and just as im sure there are some nice, well adjusted mafiosi or yakuza you cant expect it to be the norm. if you having purely charitable intent, youd join lions club...

I'd like to state right here and right now there is a HUGE difference between a group like the HELLS ANGELS and a group like the Boise chapter of H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group).  It's one thing to get together once or twice a month and ---That which is odiferous and causeth plants to grow--- for half a day...perhaps go on rides once in a while, etc....

...it's a whole other story when you "LIVE" the biker gang lifestyle.

i dont think anyone has any doubts about the difference. in fact, just to make sure in australia a particular outlaw gang threatened H.O.G with violence if they continued to wear 'patches' on their jackets! what a bunch of children...
