Im lost. I have looked everywhere. Saw one pop up on craigslist about 2 hours north of me this last weekend (SF2 Cab with working 25" monitor free!!) of course I was about 30 minutes to late to inquire about it. Im really just wanting to find a cabinet that is in decent shape that I would feel comfortable MAME'n. I have a ms. pac-man cab that im restoring now but would really like to start on my MAME machine since I have purchased like 450+ bucks for it over the last two years and have them sitting in a corner collecting dust.
I would like to stay around the $40-$50 range for a cab. Anyone know of any rec places around here or know of anyone with a cab for me?
If so please let me know!!

How do you feel about going to auctions?
They have several every year in the Milwaukee and Chicago areas.
Avoid the one just before Christmas time if you are looking for deals.
It's hit or miss really but deals can be found if you are patient and persistent.

I have a gutted cab that needs work that i'll let you have for $60. It cost me more than that.
I'm in the Aurora area (far west suburb of chicago)

Here are some auction schedules:
http://www.gameroommagazine.com/index.php?main_page=infopages&pages_id=95
http://www.usamusement.com/calendar.html (fall schedule (sept-dec) will be up later in the summer)
Depending on what you consider "Central Illinois" (where you are located) there are auctions in Indianapolis and St. Louis as well which may be as close or closer than the ones already mentioned.
