Title: NOS Ms. Pac-Man Control Panel Overlay?
Post by: Neilyboy on June 18, 2007, 08:11:14 am
If this question is not allowed here let me know and ill remove it otherwise.

Anyone know where I would be able to pickup a NOS overlay for Ms. Pac-Man. I am really wanting to keep this nice shape ms. pac-man I picked up as original as possible. And would really love to get ahold of a NOS overlay. I saw a post awhile back about a place selling them for 35 bucks (I have emailed them but havent gotten a reply yet).

Anyone help me out?

Here is my ms pac [with her missing overlay]

Thank you so much in advance.

I see a bunch of them on Ebay all the time. Some are NOS and some are licensed replicas.

I have been watching ebay for the past 3 weeks and best I can find is a reproduction (twobits, which has namco on it) im trying to keep it as original as possible so im really looking for NOS but havent seen any listed in about a month.

Try mamemarquees.com  They should be able to print up a new overlay for you.  They may not have it listed on their site so shoot them an email.  Scott should be able to get back to you with a positive result.

TTFN

According to twobit's website they are reproducing this under license from NAMCO.

Yeah I read your previous post. It does say it was bought from twobits. It's hard to tell from the pic as it's not a high res pic but I couldn't see the Namco name anywhere on that one. Good luck with it.

the control panel and coin door are getting sand-blasted and re-painted this week. My buddy works for PPG and painting is his thing so he is hooking me up for a few bucks..

we will have to see how this turns out..

Great! I was watching the auction for that cpo.

I bought 2 Midway coin doors off ebay. Neither were in great shape. I took them to a local place and had them powder coated. The guy called it a wrinkle finish but it really doesn't look like wrinkles to me. Just like a rough texture. I thought they came out great. It was a little pricey at $40 a piece but they do look nice.

Good luck.

Thanks Encryptor. Yeah my buddy thinks he can replicate the original finish pretty well. So time will tell.
