Hey all!
I'm trying to add the Model 2 emulator to Mala, and works fine with playlist etc. But when I
choose a game from the list in MaLa, the Model2 emu just pops up and does nothing.
This is probably something very complicated with batch files and all.....I hope not :(
Thanks!!

I'm not sure why it's not working for you, but it's worth pointing out that the latest version of the Model2 emu now supports running fullscreen from command line (yay!)
-
Yeah, I saw that :) Thanks for remembering!!
But how do I make MaLa start M2 in a game, instead of just starting the emu?

All,
I too am having the same problem. I *THINK* the problem is that the Model2 executable (emulator.exe) doesnt have any command line options - if you drop into dos and type "emulator.exe /?" it just runs the emu rather than showing the possible options.
The only way round this (as far as I know) would be if someone has created a wrapper - any ideas anyone ?
The new version of model2 is excellent - I remember checking it out a while ago and I'm sure most stuff was unplayable but now - wow ! Not a fan of the Tekken/SF2/whatever one on one fighters but theres a great 3rd person action/fighter called (from memory here at work) "Dynamite Cop" - highly recommended.

Buks, I just got it to work!
The line need to read %roms%, then it works!

ha ha ha - I feel such a fool. I thought the only solution was to get hold of some complicated code and all I needed was %rom% :)
Brilliant - the simple solutions are the best. Cheers AE35.
PS Dynamite Cop is ace !

Ohh I can't wait to try Model2 + MaLa...
is there a list of games Model2 supports (playable enough to call "working")?

is it like the N64 emulators in the way they use your 3D card "well" to accelerate the graphics?
If so, I'd think the video card would make most of the difference.

Can anyone explain this a bit further to me? I need to know what to put in the following MALA fields:
Rom extensions
Command line
I've got Model2 running fine outside of MALA by the way.
Cheers,
Ian
