We have a trip coming up to go to Busch Gardens for a week, and I was wondering if there are any game-related places to check out down there while we're in town?

Wow, so there must not be much of a VA community on here...
I'm actually in VA now, and have taken some pics of the "arcade" in the hotel where I'm staying, along with some from the Busch Gardens park in Williamsburg. Will post this weekend-

Hey Vintage Gamer! I am in Chesapeake. There are some arcades down on VA Beach front. Flipper McCoys, is pretty cool down on the main strip, plus you got the beach and all the other cool stores and stuff.
It has some classics in fair condition. Linky here: http://emporium.turnpike.net/~ntravel/vabeach/flippers.htm
They list some of the games by title , just click the oldies but goodies.
Hope that helps some,

I'm in Richmond, but there's not much around here. All the games seem to be in laundromats and such, unfortunately. Busch Gardens should have something. King's Dominion has a few games too.

You could always drop by and see Lloyd at CoinOpWarehouse. He probably has more machines than anyone else in this State.

I was just there last weekend. They have a few classics - DK, Galaga/Ms. Pacman, Pacman, air hockey, a crappy foosball table and a lot of the normal fair games. Not a bad arcade - wish it was local to me.

Not Arcade related, but don't forget to stop by Water Country USA. Last time I was there, and it may of been some special ticket, you could interchange between Busch Gardens and Water Country USA on the same ticket. It was pretty nice to go to the Water Park when it was really hot and then grab a meal and go over to Busch Gardens.
Also, I believe it is Peirce's BBQ that is really good.

And so, as promised, below are the pics from the hotel "arcade" at the Days Hotel on rt 199 in Williamsburg, VA. Of course they had a Ms Pac Man, and so of COURSE I couldn't leave it until the high score was that of my own :D The game in the back corner read "Super Sports" on the marquee, but it was running Capcom Bowling. The Ms Pac also was in need of serious monitor work, as it had what I describe as a "wave" effect going from right to left as I played it- it was enough to make me feel queasy to be honest. If I recall, the stickers on the front of the machines read "Newport News Amusements" (in case anyone is looking for an arcade biz in the area).
I never got to the water park or to the BBQ place, since our 2 yr old daughter decided she wanted to go to the actual Busch Gardens park 3 days in a row rather than the water park. So, it looks like we'll have to go back again one day!

I haven't seen a hotel with that many machines in a long time!
