The world's largest kiddie ride manufacturer, Carousel International, has folded after over 40 years in business. Everything is being auctioned. See www.superauctions.com for more details.
This shows that the amusement industry is really having problems.:(

I saw the advertisement in the latest issue of gameroom magazine. I would love to get one of the mini carousel's.

Yeah I've been drooling over that auction for a few months.
I check my local craigslist several times a day for kiddie rides and haven't seen anything worthwhile come up.
I wonder how much it costs to ship one of those suckers. Must be a lot.

I'm sure that their main competitor, Kiddie Rides USA, will be at the auction. Over the years Carousel International bought out smaller ride makers which made Carousel the source of parts for those rides. This'll be a major hit in terms of being able to get replacement parts not only for Carousel rides, but for all those smaller companies they bought out over the years.

Also posted in the SA listing:

And all you have to do is live somewhere near there.
You're killing me.
Prolly a good thing for marital peace though.
