Title: Questions on Cherry Master, 8 Liners?
Post by: Devospeed on June 11, 2007, 09:13:29 pm
I've been looking for information on the Cherry Master, 8 liners for awhile now. What my main question is, are they pretty simple to setup. I noticed on Ebay that they sell the harness kits, kinda like a jamma setup. Just add a monitor and a PCB board and your set. Has anybody tried this? What do I need to know for making one these work? Thanks for any replies!

Lots of manuals for 8 liners.   Just follow the wiring for the type you have or want.  Need a printer or hopper for payout.

Thanks BobA for the reply! I wonder if there is a way to set these on free play,  or if they have a dip switch?

Older machines have lots of DIPS and the newer ones have DIPS plus the ability to download settings from a PC.   Most do not offer free play but it could easily be done with a hidden coin switch to set up credits on the machine.

Cherry Master/8liner type games use their own wiring standard sort of like Jamma, but with more wires and connections since you're also driving lighted buttons.
