This may sound dumb, but do HAPP TRACKBALLS ever need to be cleaned as far as any rollers are concerned?
On that note, what do people do to clean their push buttons or joysticks in the unfortunate event that some drink or food gets gummed up into workings? Im sure there's got to be some people out there who have kids like me and its bound to happen where someone is going to get SOMETHING into the buttons or sticks. :)
So whats some good tips for cleaning them aside for disassembling them lol. Although i see that it may just come to that though, i thought i would check with the group and see what tricks people might have for cleaning the gunk out :)
thanks ahead of time,
g~

tiny bits of running alchol or that hanmd sanitiser usually cleans sticky stuff but if you have lots of major stuff that will fry leave it off for a while and keep hitting buttons rolling the ball what ever it usually keeps my junk clean

Actually disassembly is the way to go with all that stuff. Yes trackballs do need to be cleaned, BUT you may go years before you have to do it, or you may never have to do it, because your trackball at home simply isn't going to get the use that one on location got.
