Title: problem - no display with 19" vision pro
Post by: lowlifefalcon on June 07, 2007, 09:56:09 pm
i got a vision pro mtg-1902en for a Mame project, it has a vga input on the monitor it self. When i hook it up to any motherboard/and video card all the monitor says "Check SIGNAL INPUT" ... what am i missing on this, will it not work with a normal video card?
It was bought from Happ controls a while ago and just got around to checking it out.

I tried searching for this monitor and couldn't find it.  But from your description it sounds like it's not getting a correct video signal.  Are you trying to feed it a 15KHz signal?

This happens with *any* video card?

i used a regular video card, 4 different ones. I emailed the info to marc at ultimarc and he said the specs look like a regular monitor and should have worked. If i can find someone in chicago that has a arcadevga card i will that a try. when i get back i will post the specs of the monitor here so people can see it and tell me what they think. funny thing is i searched for it to and cant find any info on it either.

I will look at the box and see if there is anything on there.

Thanks for the help

But is it also CGA compatible ?

If so, is it "selectable" or "automatic" as far as video input is concerned ?
