Title: Questions about using two u360 joysticks
Post by: stephenp1983 on June 07, 2007, 03:03:50 pm
I am wanting to do a bartop with 2 u360 joysticks and 6 player buttons + credit and coin.  If I understand correctly the u360 are seen as gamepads.  Since I can attach the buttons to one of the sticks I wont be using an encoder.  Will it be difficult to get mame or even windows to work with two of these.  Specificly for use in games like robotron etc.

You should have absolutely no issues doing what you want to do.  I think you'll have to globally map each button in the MAME config, but other than that everything should be just fine!

Good luck!

I was just worried that windows might not handle to joysticks at the same time.  Thanks.

Andy also released a version of the firmware that supports shift functionality, so you can have more than 8 buttons if you need...

The only issue you will run into is that Daphne will most likely not work properly with them, unless you use Joy2Key...
