I am looking for the 19" cabaret cabinet pictured here. I just want the bare cabinet. It looks like something arcadeshop.com would carry but they don't.
Any leads???

Anyone?

That looks like a standard Pac-Galaga cab. (with wood siding...)
(I just bought one) ;D
You're best bet is to look around for an empty cab...
There might me someplace that sells a repro.
Or you can build one. Jackobud.com?

yeah - that looks like a standard Ms. Pac-man/Galaga cabinet which has got to be one of the most common cabinets out there. If you look around enough you will find one but it might be tough to get a stained wood look without either applying a veneer or building your own from scratch.

Yeah it looks like those Midway cabinets but this is in a cabaret size. I went to a local game store here in LA that sells them and they had a bunch of the cabinets in the back area waiting to have their boards installed. They obviously came from some sort of supplier.
Unfortunately when I asked to buy one of the empty cabinets, the guy said he wanted $700 for one!
I cannot build my own due to the fact that I live in a condo without a proper workspace.
ANY HELP OUT THERE!?

I was thinking it was a standard pac cab too, but it appears it is a little less wide than a pac judging by the bezel.

what part of the country are you in? maybe you could share workspace with somebody who has a shop and build two? Pay for the wood for the other guys cab for usage of shop space. Bring beer for using electricity.

It's not a standard pac/galag cab. There are a bunch of differences there.

Well so far I've seen mini cabs like that at Lizard lick amusements (http://www.lizardlickamusements.com/pages/multicade.shtml) But it's for a whole multicade. Might be worth an email to them to see where they get theirs or if they will sell you one that's empty or not assembled yet.
Arcadeshop Amusements (http://www.arcadeshop.com/cabinets/cabinets.htm) has repro midway cabs.
Hope that helps
