from time to time i look at an old thread i was involved in and find pics i posted. some of these pics only exist here though as they are trapped on my dead hard drive :( . so my question is; is there an easy way for me to find all pics ive posted here? or would i have to just start trawling, from beginning to end?

Click on the "profile" button for yourself, then click "show posts" on the left side of your profile page. :)

That doesn't really help since he uploaded the pics. Pics uploaded to a post don't show up on the "show the last posts of xxx" thing. The only pics that would show up there are linked pics.
I guess he could read every post to find out which ones he uploaded to, but that seems like way too much trouble.

Mmmm I can't think of an easier way unfortunately...

Danny,
So you are looking for posts that you have placed an attachment in? Or are you also considering images you linked to (e.g. via the [img] tag)?

Nope, I can whip up a query that can accomplish this. I just need to look at the database and see how they track attachments to users. Their implementation has this spread across about 5 tables.
