Title: Keyboard/Joystick/Mouse Mappers
Post by: Tripplejol on May 23, 2007, 04:08:24 pm
Hello All,

I'll jump straight into this one becuase I'm hitting a brick wall.

Does anybody know of a similar Keyboard Mapper/Emulator program to the oft extolled "Joy2Key?"

You see "Joy2Key" is a pretty good program, but I'm looking for one that allows multiple inputs from both the Keyboard & a Joystick (E.g. Simultaniuosly pressing 2 buttons on the joystick would equal 'Alt-F4' on the keyboard?) And if at all possible, mouse emulation too?

Any Clues?

Why can't you do that. You map one button as Alt. Another button as F4. You press both those buttons and you get ALT+F4. And joy2key does mouse emulation too. I posted my cfg for mouse emulation. Just extract it in joytokey's folder.

Try GlovePIE, it does pretty much anything, though you need to figure out how to use it, it is a bit hard to get used to, but once you have figured it out, you should be able to do whatever you want.

AutoHot Key and or Autoit.... a slim scripting program.  Unlike glovepie (which imho is only useful for wiimotes) it doesn't require you to install countless fake drivers and can be compiled into a exe.

Wow guys, cheers for the abundance of info.

That Auto hotkey is a real pain in the arse for someone who has never tried scripting before, but after a little perseverance & a lot of swearing I've got it up & running & integrated with Mamewah.

Many Thanks.
