Okay guys, I need your expert advice. I have my den decorated like a bar from the 1970's: beer signs (some neon) are all over the walls, and I have a small bar with two stools in there as well. My jukebox isn't really a jukebox per se; it's just an old PC running WinCab, controlled by the mouse only. Its monitor and mouse are sitting on an end table next to a couch. The PC itself sits on a shelf under the table that I'm sure was meant to hold books, and I have it wired into an old stereo receiver that's hidden inside the backbar. I'd like to dress up the monitor a bit (and make it look a little more like a real jukebox if possible), without building a big cabinet for it and without just painting the case. The PC is kind of out of sight, but I hate the ubiquitous light putty color of the monitor case (and mouse) in particular. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I remember reading that thread, but I don’t think I have the woodworking talent it would take to do it. Plus, I’m thinking more along the lines of 1970’s jukebox than 1950’s radio. Thanks for the reply though!

Mount the computer screen into the wall and run all the cabling through the wall as well. An easier idea for this would be if you have a closet or storage room which you can walk into. You can then mount everything inside this room, then cut a hole in the wall, stick your display in the hole from the back and then from the front side of that same wall only the display screen would be visible. You can then put a frame around the display on the wall to make it look special.

If it's 70's you want you need to mount your gear into one of those old 'furniture' stereos.

Knievel, I love your idea, except that I'd rather go for a commercial jukebox look than a home stereo look. But I may use your idea in my living room! Currently I have a pair of wireless speakers in there that play whatever the jukebox in the den plays.
Any other ideas out there? At this point I'm thinking of just making my own stand-alone bezel for the monitor. With a black bezel, at least from the front, it won't look so beige.
P.S. I'd be up for a game of Stunt Cycle anytime - if only it were available in MAME! Know of any other way I can play it?

I seem to remeber a NES version of it and also a Gameboy version of it. I might be thinking of a different game but i seem to remeber something simular on those systems.

Stunt Cycle (if you talk about the very early Atari Game) can been found to Atari 2600 which reproducate the game very well. Look after that on AtariAge homepage.
The original arcade game, is not based on a any cpu, so it have no rom data in it. Because of that, you would never see this game emulated in MAME, since you only can simulate that game.
