Hello
I had a little XBox network going at the house. My son just got a 360. Can they network with my other Xbox's?
If not I will have 3 XBox consoles for sale. One is off my boat and has not been used very much. One has has a mod kit.
Thanks for any help
Pete

You won't be able to stream things to you 360 from the older Xboxes, that much I know for sure.
I haven't tried to network my 360 at all, but from what I've read, it will only stream/connect with PCs running XP Media Center and possibly Vista. There are also a few other programs that unofficially allow you to stream, but I can't remember the names off hand (tversity maybe??)
Basically, the original Xbox is much more useful as a networked media device than a 360 (for now). Is that what you are trying to do? You have a pretty vague description of "networking" them together. What exactly are you aiming for?

I think he means multiplayer LAN.
I might be wrong. I don't have an xbox though, so I'm not sure it supports this.

I could have sworn i read that they can connect via lan.

how much are you asking for an xbox. Just need the xbox, cords and a controller, also a DVD dongle and dvd remote if you have one?

Depends on the game....Halo 2 works perfect :)

I can also confirm that Halo 2 is cross compatible. Not sure about other games though, I suppose if the game were designed to be it could work that way.

Thanks for the help

Any game that is system link capable, and backward compatible on the 360, will work fine networked with the original Xbox.
