I'm looking for someone to make a fairly graphical frontend with me. I have no programming expierence, but I also have no job, so I would like to give something back to the community while the going is good. Anyone who is looking for a project, let me know, I would love to team up. Also, If u can just suggest some programs to use, I appreciate it.

Most of the fe's around here are skinnable and could use some good skins!
Emutron, Lazarus, Emulaxian (mine) and soon also mamewah to name just a few examples, you can set your teeth in ;D

I'll second that motion! I'd love to see some more skins (for Emulaxian in particular). Something more generic that would work on anyone's cab would be nice. It would also be cool just to see someone try to "mix things up" and try something different with it. As cool as the default skin is, it would be neat to see some other different designs. At the very least, they would be good inspiration to the rest of us.

What do you use to make the Skins?
-
Depends upon the fe.

Can u list what u use to make what?

in emulaxian you go into skinner mode and move/resize the sprites on the fly. doubleclick on a sprite to popup the detailed parameters. the artwork i created mainly using flash and a bit of illustator for the glaxian emulaxian morph and a bit of photoshop to fool around with the bitmaps.
for the 3d stuff. the internal cylinder in the 3d sprite is also skinnable including the animated texture. which can be created from a set of bitmaps in the cfg utility. more complex models have to be made in a 3d modeling program. i used 3dsmax.
