Post by: whiful on May 17, 2007, 05:19:47 pm
Anyone got any idea whats wrong with this monitor? I've tried all adjustments from the remote control already, and no luck. Thanks for any help in advance!  :)

polo 1 or 2?what frequency is the game board 15k or 25k
if the game board is standard 15k then check the following
if its polo 1 then you vertical hold is wrongly set, check it again
if its polo 2 then maybe its set to 25khz instead of 15khz on the jumper plugs

It was working fine, and then all of a sudden just went like that. It was repaired about 2-3 weeks ago, supposedly two caps on the horizontal output were changed. Thats all I know.

there are a couple of caps, transistors and an ic that can cause this sort of problem but its very rare, look at t110,t112,c149,c150 and ic 104 and the only other possibility could be a faulty vert hold pot
