... so that I can search Craigslist without seeing 100 postings for "Arcade Fire tickets!" or "Need Arcade Fire tickets!" or "Arcade Fire is coming to town, just FYI!" or "Lawn Mower for sale, works and by the way Arcade Fire!"
Apparently it is a rock group although I'm not sure I have heard anything by them. This weekend they finally do their concert and I can search for "Arcade" again quickly and without all the scouring.

If all those sellers remove the outdated posts...which they won't.
-
Just checked out the tour dates... they haven't been in MA since 2005. :laugh2:
-
Have you tried searching "arcade -fire -concert"? I think the search works like ebay if I'm not mistaken. Unless you are looking for an Atari Fire Truck game. :)

I was thinking the exact same thing before I even clicked on the thread!

This is my search string:
arcade -tickets -tix -ticket -xbox -playstation

Amen :applaud:
Every morning I search Chicago Craiglist and get to see Arcade Fire Concert tickets...
-
This is my search string:
arcade -tickets -tix -ticket -xbox -playstation
I mean, yeah, of course. Aren't these sort of search string modifiers common knowledge these days?

What he said ... bloody local classified searches have been useless lately ... I've actually had to READ the ads.

I tried the "-fire" thing in the past and it didn't work so I gave up on it. I just tried it and it worked fine. :dunno
I must have botched it somehow. I still hate Arcade Fire because of this.
I also was searching on eBay for game room decorations and put in "Arcade neon". Guess what Arcade Fire's album is titled... Neon Bible. So I got a ton of Arcade Fire crap there too.
