Hi,
I'm having real problems trying to config MAME with this frontend
My MAME file is located:
C:\Documents and Settings\Mike Byrne\Desktop\MAME\mame.exe
And the Roms are:
C:\Documents and Settings\Mike Byrne\Desktop\MAME\roms
How can I link the frontend to my MAME Roms??

I am at work and not near my cab so I don't quite remember the exact sequence of what you need to do. That being said - here should be a bat file next to your 3darcade app appropriately called "go directly to configuration menu.bat" that will take you directly to the 3darcade setup menu. From there you need to go to Lists -> Mame -> and choose edit list from the pull down. Here you will be able to specify the mame app you want to use and the directory for your roms/artwork etc.
You could also check out the 3dArcade forum at: http://echo.messageboard.nl/2243/index.php or the main site at: http://3darcade.mameworld.net/
I still think 3dArcade is one of the coolest FE's around that nobody else seems to be using...!

It is totally cool. However, quite a few of us have a full romset, and it's really not practical to have a 6000 unit arcade, not to mention the memory\cpu requirements...

3D Arcade also has a bunch of 2D style displays check out the skins section on it's website. I think where it lets iselft down (from what I hear anyway) is setting it up. Also it's not actively being developed AFAIK. But I still think it has one of the most powerful and innovative engines of all the FE's.

I've set 90% of this frontend up. Its great!!
I've also added Nintendo emulators to it aswell, I really recommend it and the setup isnt that hard once you get the hang of it
