Title: Bubble Bobble problems with command line MAME ...

Hello,
I'm running MAME V.97 with MALA (not sure of the version).  Every time I try and run a Bubble Bobble ROM, it freezes the PC.
I don't think this is an issue with MALA, as it always fails with the command line version (also V.97)...
Works fine in MAME32...

Any ideas??

With Mame32 is it also .97?

Yes, everything is V97...
