I have been trying different things but it doesnt seem to alter the screen.

Image of screen image doesnt real capture the shakey effect think that might be a resolution/ refresh rate issue

what res do you have the desk top set at?

is the monitor hooked to the pc only or both pc and golden tee since you hear it playing I assume everything is hooked up but the monitor is now on the pc instead?

The problem might be that the monitor has a jumper to select 15 or 25 Khz and it is set to 25. Should be set to 15.

andy is correct,BUT normally polo 2 are auto ranging between 15 and 25k(depends on the age),if you look on the chassis below the neck card it will tell you whether is auto or not(on the metal casing),btw the adjustment board is directly below the neck card

Based on the picture, it is at the right resolution.

You need to find Vert hold, pincushion and width controls as well as brightness.

Or alternatively, what does your connection to the monitor look like?? I am asking this because your picture shows the vertical to be locked in half way up, or is it rolling.

I found that mark mate it states its a 15/25 auto. I also found the controls and stretched the picture. I need to find the right resolution for the monitor and mamewah plus emulators etc.... not sure what is best 800x 600 doesnt seem to work nor does 640 x 480 and will I need to alter the screen refresh rate? cheers for all your help guys.

Have you tried adjusting VHold yet as Rick suggested?  640x480 interlaced should work assuming you didn't install the 'multisync patch' from Ultimarc.  You'll also need to be more specific than "640x480 doesn't work".

I use a  nanao with a video amp mamewah set to 640X480 and same with windows if you go to the ultimarc site it explains how to use and hook the arcadevga up correctly also make sure your monitor wires are where they should be and not have your H or V on the green red or blue ground etc.

on my set-up it does not like 800X600 and when switched from 800x600 to 640x480 the monitor needs to be retuned otherwise it you could not make any display out becuase it is moving shaking rolling etc.

Thanks guy think iv cracked it found the control panel it was in a strange place no where near the monitor. Iv also alter the screen settings went with 640 x 288 and it seems to work good apart from my NES emulator doesnt work now but think I might need to re configure it plus all my other emulators now.
