Hi, I just got an Arachnid 6300 Super Six Dart Board and it works o.k. except the #10 & #11. Everything else works fine. I am thinking it's the matrix( I think that's what it's called). I am not sure why they don't work I looked at the boards and they seem fine and so does the matrix itself. Anyone know how to test/fix it? Or where to get a matrix? I have looked at ebay but nothing there so far. Thanks!!

they show up on ebay all the time, along with anything else you need. Make sure they are just not stuck. Ken is the man to ask, he has helped me out a lot, he knows everything about these.

I took the head apart and cleaned out some broken tips in the spider but I am not sure what you mean by stuck. Can the matrix get stuck? or would it just be the spider? If Ken has any input it would be greatly appreciated as I am new to this stuff.

Is it all of #10 and #11 don't register when pushed? Or is it #10 and #11 are stuck shut?
Check all the segments for broken dart tips/cracked sides.
Clean the surface of the switch matrix with a rag dampened with lighter fluid to clean all the black gunk off. Do the same with the rubber damper.
Look closely at the connectors on the end of the matrix's ribbon cable. They like to fall apart with age.

All of 10 & 11 don't register. I have looked at and wiped off the matrix. I haven't seen any black gunk but will look again. I will definitely take a good close look at the ribbon cable. It looked o.k. but I had just given it a cursory inspection. When I first got the board they didn't work...took it apart and they did then they stopped again. I am thinking the problem is with the matrix..a broke connection that "bridged" for a brief time and worked but fell apart again.

The switch matrix and it's "tail" cables/connectors are very delicate and are also prone to failure. The switches inside the matrix itself are known to go bad. The cure is to buy a new matrix ($$$$) and I think it sells for about $100.

Do you know where I can buy one? 100$ is expensive but there doesn't seem to be many alternatives.

o.k. thanks for all the info. I will keep my eyes open on ebay. So far I can't find any at Happ or Betson.
