Those things are sweet. Our engineering department was looking into getting one right before I graduated. I guess they will definitely be getting one now for that price. ;D
One of the cool samples we were given to show off the abilities of the machine was a sealed ball bearing. It was a solid shell with the bearings already inside - all built in place at once. Very neato.

It's too bad the materials are so toxic. I don't see this truly reaching mass market until that problem is solved.

That's kind of what I was thinking. And what happens to all those toxic fumes, if there are any?

They get filtered through a little glass ball full of water up top and come out of a pipe on top of the printer.
